If you do make a donation by cheque please complete the "Gift Aid Declaration" so that we can reclaim the tax on your donation.
Remembrance Book
The Baby Beat Appeal Remembrance Book is on display adjacent to the Baby Beat shop, in the foyer of the Sharoe Green Maternity Unit. Donations are made in lieu of flowers or just because someone wants to remember.
- In lieu of christenings or anniversaries
- Will bequests or legacies
- GAYE (Give As You Earn)
Volunteers
We need help in our Appeal shop, either for 2 hours per week or on an ad hoc basis. We know there are people out there who would be willing to help, if only they knew we needed them. We want people of any age and any gender. Our shop volunteers work in pairs and many have become firm friends, others have met up with old friends and school pals. Do you know someone who like meeting people and would enjoy the social side of volunteering as well as helping a worthwhile charity?
We also have 'ladies in waiting' who fill in for sickness and holidays, perhaps you know someone who would like to join these ladies. If so, please contact Karen Entwistle at Baby Beat on telephone 01772 524414.
Fundraising
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for the Baby Beat Appeal. Why not 'guess the weight of the baby' or 'guess the time of birth'. You could also put forward Baby Beat's name to benefit from any fundraising by organisations or local groups, such as the Brownies, Cubs, Schools, WI, etc. Maybe you could organise an event such as a gala, fete, dinner dance, black tie ball, coffee morning, raffle, sporting match, etc.
