Burn’s Supper – Saturday 23 January – 7pm
At Leyland Golf Club – organised by Matron Sue Sherlock. Five course gala dinner, traditional piping in of the haggis, disco and dancing. Tickets £25 pp available from the Baby Beat Office (01772 524414).

Band Night - @ Method, Corporation Street, Preston – Thursday 4 February – 7pm

Glovers Bar, Preston – Friday 26 February – An Evening of Live Music with Radio One DJ Dev
Organised by Jane Wignall and Rob Binns. Free entry with live band Coco Shackle – come along and join in the fun.

The Baby Beat Winter Ball – Friday 5 March – 7pm
Black Tie Ball at Barton Grange Hotel, Garstang Road, Barton. Once again organised by Sandra Allan, one of Baby Beat’s main supporters and for the third year running, this fantastic event is always a sell out. Charity Fundraiser – St Anthony’s Club, Fulwood – Saturday 6 March – 7.30pm
Organised by Nicola Roberts. Fun packed evening to include Karaoke, Bingo and much more.
Charity Caberet Night & Disco “Elvis Presley Tribute” - Saturday 13 March 7.45pm – 12.30am

Fashion Show – Marriott Hotel, Broughton, Preston – Monday 12 April – 7pm

Preston Lady Farmers Union Charity Evening – 21 April – Time TBC
As part of their year long support, the Ladies will be organising a charity evening which will include fashion show and raffle. More details to follow.
Fashion Show – Shaw Hill Golf & Country Club – Wednesday 21 April
Organised by Tatters of Longton. An exclusive collection of Ladies’ fashion and accessories for all ages.

Dress Down Day and Raffle – Barclays Bank (Radbroke Hall) – Friday 30 April
Organised by Matthew Spinks. Employees will be donning their ‘casuals’ with Barclays Bank matching the amount raised on the day.

Morris Minor Run – Saturday 1 May – Monday 3 May
Organised by Andrew Fowler, events organiser for the Lancashire Branch of the Morris Minor Owner’s Club, five cars (which are over 40 years old) will be taking to the roads in honour of Baby Beat. The 250 mile journey will start in Preston and travel around the Lakes before returning to Preston.

Keswick to Barrow 40 Mile Walk – Saturday 8 May
Organised by David Burton a group of nine people will be taking part in this 40 mile walk in aid of The Appeal. To sponsor David and his pals, please go to: www.justgiving.com/keswicktobarrow.
Car Boot Sale/Cake Sale – Sunday 23 May - Rufford
Organised by Abigail Clucas, selling bric a brac, refreshments and cakes at Rufford car boot market to raise funds for Baby Beat.
Graduation Ball Raffle – Saturday 29 May
As part of their continued support, a group of medical students will be organising a raffle for Baby Beat at their graduation ball.
South African Comrades Marathon – Sunday 30 May
Dr Matthew Cooper will be taking part in one of the world’s toughest athletic challenges in aid of The Appeal, with 12 hours to complete the 56 mile course. To sponsor Matthew please go to www.justgiving.com/Matthew-Cooper3.

London to Paris Bike Ride from 2 - 6 June
Mr Sean Hughes and Sue Sherlock will be pedalling their way to Paris on this 300 mile bike in aid of The Appeal.

Fun Run/Walk In The Park – Sunday 27 June – Haslam Park
The Helping Hands group (4th Year Medical Students) from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals have organised this Fun Run/Walk. 10am registration, for a 10.30am start. Annual Charity Golf Day - BEA Construction Consultants – Thursday 19 August
This prestigious annual golfing event will take place at Ormskirk Golf Club once again in aid of The Appeal. Teams of four are invited to join Baby Beat’s Patron, Mark Lawrenson and friends in the battle at what has become an important date in the golfing calendar. Charity Football Match – North West Army Recruitment Office versus North West Ambulance Service – Date to be confirmed
One of Baby Beat main supporters, Col Willan has once again organised this fabulous event in aid of The Appeal. The two teams will be battling it out for the third year running at Leyland FC. Free entrance with auction and raffle in the bar after the game. More details to follow.
